Born in Chicago, IL, Leslie Esbrook attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she majored in French, European Studies and Economics. During her undergraduate career, she spent a year in France attending Sciences Po and writing her thesis on the status of second-generation minorities in French elite schools. After graduation with top honors at Vanderbilt, she went to Turkey on a U.S. Fulbright Scholarship where she taught English at Usak University for two years. While in Usak, she also published a cookbook of Turkish recipes for English speakers entitled “111 Easy Turkish Recipes for Your Family”. Esbrook currently attends Yale Law School in New Haven, CT where she is interested in international public and private law. She speaks English, Turkish and French.
